Western Forms
the most cost-effective concrete forming system in the world today!
Since introducing the first 3-foot wide, light-weight aluminum panel in 1963, Western Forms has proven
that the use of aluminum forms combined with poured-in-place concrete is the most cost-effective
construction method in the world today. Here's why:
- Local, unskilled labor can be easily taught the simple, repetitive process required to build
effectively, quickly and efficiently.
- Western's aluminum panels are light enough to be easily handled by one person.
- Cranes are not required to move formwork. However, standard forms can be "gang-formed" and
crane handled on projects, when desired.
- A predictable production rate of one unit per day, per set of forms, is readily achieved.
- The Western Forms System allows exterior walls, interior partition walls and ceilings to be poured
monolithically to shorten production time.
- Western's modular system permits an unlimited range of design configurations.
- Durability of Western forms (1,000 to 2,000 reuses), with minimal maintenance, allows contractors
to amortize the cost of forms over many projects.
- The only basic construction materials required are concrete and steel reinforcement.
- The Western System includes many attractive textured forms, including attractive Vertex brick
pattern.
- Reusable molds are supplied for windows, doors and other openings/cavities. These further
eliminate the need for skilled labor.
