Fire Sprinkler Pipe WLS & WST

API NSF ISO

Licensed under API Spec Q1 and 5L

Since 1990, Wheatland Tube Company has been the only domestic producer of continuous furnace weld pipe licensed by the American Petroleum Institute to apply the official API monogram to its continuous furnace weld pipe. The American Petroleum Institute is an internationally recognized standardizing agency charged with certifying manufactured products which meet the required physical properties for the conveyance of oil and gas. API licensing is based on a company's ability to meet rigorously defined quality standards through an on-going quality control program.

Wheatland Tube Company is the first manufacturer of hot dip galvanized ASTM A53 and black and galvanized ASTM A 589 pipe certified to NSF Standard 61. NSF International is an independent non-profit organization serving government, industry and consumers. NSF Standard 61 establishes quality requirements for the control of potential adverse effects from products and materials which contact drinking water. Wheatland's NSF-approved drinking water system product line, galvanized via a patented process, is but one example of Wheatland's commitment to continual quality improvement.

Wheatland Tube Company's manufacturing plant in Wheatland, PA is one of two John Maneely Company divisions to earn the distinction of ISO 9002 certification. It is also the first continuous weld pipe producer to meet the very demanding quality requirements of this certification program.
