| PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Wheatland Lightwall Sprinkler Pipe (WLS) is a threadable lightweight
steel pipe used for sprinkler
applications. WLS is a standard nominal outside diameter pipe product and conforms to
Schedule 30 dimensions set forth in ANSI/ASME B36.10M-1995. Wheatland has engineered over
60 years of experience and quality control into its sprinkler pipe products using the
continuous furnace weld
manufacturing process. WLS has the service life and application range needed to produce a
quality
sprinkler system installation.
WLS is approved for use with threaded, welded, roll grooved or plain
end fittings. When hot dip
galvanized, WLS is FM approved for use in dry system applications. WLS complies with the
appropriate ASTM, ANSI, UL, ULC and NFPA standards and is FM approved. Our product quality
is assured by both hydrostatic tests and non-destructive (NDE) eddy current tests.

- ASTM A-795F Standard Specification for black and hot-dipped zinc
coated (galvanized) welded steel pipe for fire protection.
