For Sl: 1 inch = 25.4 mm, 1 lbf/ft = 14.6 N/m
REQUIREMENTS:
- StrucLam thickness shall be 1-3/4 inches (44.4 mm).
- Design load shall be the maximum load applied to the outside
ply .
- Values listed above are based on a normal duration load. For
other durations, the load shall be adjusted in accordance with the applicable code.
- For a three ply member, the nailing specified shall be
applied to both sides of member .
- Bolt holes shall be a minimum of 1/32-inch (.8 mm) to a
maximum of 1/16-inch (1.6 mm) larger than the bolt diameter , and shall be located a
minimum of 2-inches (50.8 mm) from the top or bottom of the beam, parallel to the
direction of load.
For nailed members, see detail B6 of Figure 1 of this
report for depth requirements.

For Sl: 1 inch = 25.4 mm, 1 lbf = 4.45 N, 1 psi = 6.89 kPa
NOTES:
- Bearing length shall not be less than 1-1/2 inches (38.1
mm).
- Bearing across the full width of the beam is required.
- Bearing lengths shown are based on an allowable bearing
stress of 700 psi (4823 Kpa). Bearing length shall be increased proportionally when the
allowable bearing stress of the support member is less than 700 psi (4823 Kpa).
