DOOR OPERATION
SPECIFICATIONS: |
Auto Lock Mechanical Or Electric:
Door automatically opens from locked
position and relocks when closed at the
push of a button.
Radio Control: Available with Auto Lock.
Door can be controlled completely from 3
button palm size industrial rated
transmitter.
Three Button Control: Magnetically held
electric control switch with up, down, and
stop positions.
Upper Override Disconnect:
Electrically kills door, should door go
beyond designed opening height.
Manual Backup: From the floor method
of operating bifold door if power is
temporarily lost.
Sensing Edge With Reverser:
Electrical switch to immediately stop and
reverse door travel if there is an
obstruction. |
Power Operator: All electrical controls
are designed to meet National Electrical
Code Section 513. Standard voltage is
240V single phase with any voltage or
phasing available. Gear motor is
equipped with an electric brake to
guarantee to stop and hold door in any
position of door travel. Magnetic starter
with 110 volt control unit and a manually
held push button control is standard.
Heavy duty limit switch box is guaranteed
"weather proof." All controls are pre wired
and factory tested.
Lift Cables: Fastened to bottom of top
hinge, transmitting forces directly to
header of building relieving door of
unnecessary stresses. Cables are
fastened to cable drum at the bottom cord
by a welding ring on drum, permitting
drive shaft to have 1/4 turn of free play
without danger of cutting lift cables.
Cables do not pass through pulleys,
thereby eliminating maintenance and
extending cable life.
Drive Shaft: Mounted on bottom cord of
door, running continuously along entire
width. Attached to door frame with
bearing mounts wherever there is a cable
drum installed to minimize stress on shaft.
The cable drums are an integral part of
the drive shaft, guaranteeing an even lift of
the door at all times.
Locks: All controls are at one end to
eliminate walking to both ends to lock and
