INTRODUCTION / CONTENTS

Introduction

Yale 3000 Series Door Closers with all their variations are truly universal in both design and application. In addition to the following types of closers, a complete line of accessories are available to allow installation on most door and frame configurations.

Sized Closers

They're available as sized closers, sizes 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6. For low traffic doors these closers are available with  just basic features; for high traffic and other demanding installations, they're available as a full feature closure. These closers may be ordered without a cover, with a slim cover or with a full cover. For details, see pages 4 and 5.

Multi-Size Closers

Yale 3000 Series are also available as a multi-size closer; sparing power adjusted to meet the needs of each individual door. These closers are available with a normal power range (sizes 2 thru 6) or with a barrier code power range (sizes 1 thru 4). Multi size closers are standard with either a slim cover or a full cover. And standard non-hold-open and hold-open function closers are shipped with brackets for Tri-Pack installation. For details, see pages 6 and 7.

Holder/Stops

Yale 3000 Series Closers are available as holder/stops; positive hold-open and /or positive stop. Hold-open is selectable by thumb turn or hex-key. They're available with either the full-feature sized closer or with one of the two multi-size closers. These controls are standard with either a slim cover or full cover. For details, see pages 8 and 9.

Slide Track Closers

Yale 3000 Series  Closers are available with slide arm and track for installations where an aesthetic appearance is desirable. There is no arm or bracket projection, resulting in an installation with sleek, tasteful lines. It is also less obtrusive than other applications, thereby reducing the potential for vandalism. They're available with the full feature closers and are standard with either a slim cover or a full cover. They are also available with either selectable hold-open or non-hold-open function. For details, see pages 10 and 11.
