3300ST/3500ST SERIES DOOR CLOSERS WITH SLIDE ARM AND TRACK

(Push) Side Installation

Yale P3300ST/P3500 Series Door Closers offer the door control of the 3300/3500 Series closer with the aesthetic appearance of a slide track application. There is no arm or bracket projection, so the installation presents sleek lines that are not obtrusive, resulting in reduced potential for vandalism.

The closer is surface mounted to the door's top rail and the slide track is fastened to the the  frame soffit. These closers are non-handed and feature 50% spring power adjustment, closing speed, latch speed and backcheck cushioning control valve adjustments. The P3300ST closers are supplied with a molded Slim Cover. The P3500ST closers are supplied with a molded Full Cover. The P3500M-ST Series Closer is also available and is supplied with a Full Metal Cover. The metal cover and arm assembly can have a sprayed or plated finish. The slide track assembly is only available in sprayed finishes. See Finishes, page 18.

Yale P3300ST/P3500ST Series closers are available with either a non-hold-open or an engage/disengage hold-open function. Both functions, for doors that do not swing beyond 100°, feature a spring buffered stop assembly within the track. The range of door opening and/or hold-open is as follows:

Non-Hold-Open with Spring Buffer

85° to 110°

Non-Hold-Open without Spring Buffer

85° to 125°

Hold-Open

85° to 100°

The closer's telescoping arm and spring buffered track assembly provide adjustment of the door opening angle and/or hold-open in 3° increments within the ranges stated above. Hold-Open track assemblies also permit the hold-open breakout force to be increased, by means of a hex drive adjustment screw.
