• Exposed Back/Narrow Top Rail, Full Metal Cover, 3400M & 3500M Series: for doors with glass lites; kit contains 3146 Drop Plate to accommodate top rails as narrow as 1-3/4'' (45mm) and a 3545 Decorative Plate to cover the back of closer.

3549 Drop Plate Kit

• Exposed Back/Concealed Overhead Holder, Full Metal Cover, 3400M & 3500M Series: places centerline of plate's screws 2-1/2'' (64mm) from top of door; clears holder's door preparation and cover back of closer.

• Low Ceiling Clearance: where low ceiling clearance prevents closer mounting; accommodates ceiling clearance between 1-7/8'' and 2-7/8'' (48mm & 73mm); for less ceiling clearance see 3148 plate.
• Overhead Holder Clearance: places centerline of arm jamb bracket 2-7/8'' (73mm) from top of door; clears most holders.

3146 Drop Plate

• Very Low Ceiling Clearance: accommodates ceiling clearance between 1-1/2'' and 1-3/4'' (38mm & 44mm).

3148 Drop Plate

• Exposed Back, Full Molded Cover 3400 & 3500 Series: for transoms with glass lites; plate covers back of closer.

3445 Decorative Plate

• Exposed Back/Low Ceiling Clearance/Overhead Holder Clearance, Full Metal Cover, 3400M & 3500M Series: cover back of closer, accommodates ceiling clearance between 1-5/8'' and 3-7/8'' (41mm & 98mm); places the centerline of arm jamb bracket 4'' (102mm) from top of door.
