Notes:
- All Yale 4500 Series Closers are supplied with a slide 25
(635) long. For narrow doors a shorter length slide track is required. The track can be
cut to required length at the time of installation. This provides application versatility
and assures the proper length track.
- The template position for the slide track must always be
measured from the centerline of the door's pivot point.
- An auxiliary door stop is required for door openings beyond
105°. Use of an auxiliary door stop is always recommended.
- To obtain door openings between 120° and
180°, an intermediate pivot must be used in lieu of a conventional top
pivot. An auxiliary door stop would then be required for door openings beyond 110°. Use
of an auxiliary door stop is always recommended.
- To obtain hold open points between 105°
and 125°, an intermediate pivot must be used in lieu of a conventional
top pivot.
