4500DPS WIRING / DOOR SIZING

Wiring

Switch is momentary contact Single Pole Double Throw (SPDT). Switch rating is 5 Amp @ 30VDC/250VAC.

  1. Red lead from Switch is open contact.: Power is OFF when door is in fully closed position but is ON when door is opened more then 1/4" (0.63mm). Used to communicate "open door" situation.
  2. Black lead from switch is closed contact.: Power is On when door is in fully closed position but is OFF when door is opened more then 1/4" (0.63mm). Used to communicate "closed door" situation.
  3. White lead from switch connects to power input.

Wiring of switch must be in compliance with N.E.C. Class 2 wiring specifications.
