Electrified Exit Devices

The Yale 7000 Exit Device Series offers a complete range of electrical options:

  • Latch Pullback
  • Electric Dogging
  • Mortise Device Trim Control
  • Touchbar Monitor or Signaling
  • Outside Trim monitor or Signaling
  • Bolt Position Monitor or Signaling

A continuum in appearance, security and functions with the 7000 Series mechanical exit device is maintained.

The 7000 Electrified Exit Devices may be integrated into the monitoring security and alarm systems of most buildings.

Electric Latch Pullback

Suffix "P" to the List Number:
Operation
Latch Pullback provides a remote means of unlocking exit devices.
Continuous duty solenoids retract the bolt(s) for momentary or maintained periods of time.

Surface Vertical Rod Exit Devices
Mortise Exit Devices
SquareBolt Exit Devices
Listings:
UL listed for both Panic and Fire Exit Hardware.
Electrical Specifications:
Requires 781 Controller (120VAC input, output for up to two sequential or individual exit devices), and 4-wire electrical pivot or hinge by others.
Solenoid:
5.5 volt solenoid with 36 volt holding magnet (.172 Amp)
14 Amp in rush @ 24VDC
.172 Amp holding-continuous duty.
Device bolts remain retracted for as long as the device is energized. Removal of power returns the device to the life safety, self-latching mechanical mode. Easy interface with central or local fire alarm system, automatic door operators, magnetic door locks, electric strikes, and access control systems.

 

Electric Dogging

Operation
Electric dogging feature provides continuous latch retraction and touchbar dogging simultaneously. When power is applied to the exit device, depressing the pushbar will continuously hold the pushbar down and the latchbolt retracted in the unlocked position. Removal or interruption of power will release the pushbar and the latch will extend.

Requires a 2-wire thru wired pivot or hinge, and a standard 24VDC power supply.
