Accessories
1290 Battery Charger and Batteries
This optional unit provides the high-traffic
electronic lock user with an easy-to-use alternative to frequent battery changes. The 1290
recharges the battery pack via either a door loop or pressure contacts. Changing occurs at
all times with the door loop. When pressure contacts are installed, charging occurs when
the door is closed.
Hands of Doors
Always face the door form the outside to determine its
hand.
The outside is the street side of an entrance door or the
corridor side of a room door. The outside of a single communicating door is the side
opposite the hinges. The outside of twin communicating doors is the space between the
doors.
