PRO-NOLIC®
PARTITIONS - Fabricated from PRONOLIC® solid phenolic core - a unique solid plastic material which is resistant to delamination even
under severe steam, water, or hose down conditions. Sound-absorption and rigidity make it an excellent choice for both toilet and shower
partitions. Matching waterproof countertops are available to create a completely color-coordinated installation.
PANELS - Solid phenolic core material with decorative melamine surface on both sides. Material is compression molded under heat and
pressure and has no glue joints. No two-piece construction acceptable. All panels are 1/2" finished thickness by 58" high and of required
depth. Panels are anchored to the front pilasters with three "U" brackets and to the wall with three double-ear brackets, all of heavy extruded
brite anodized type 6463T5 aluminum.
DOORS - Finished thickness of 3/4" by 58" high and of the same construction as specified for dividing panels.
PILASTERS - Available in four styles Congress, Senate, Diplomat and Judiciary.
Congress Series - Floor Mounted, Overhead Braced - with finished thickness of 3/4", and of the same design and construction as specified
for dividing panels and doors. No two-piece construction acceptable. Pilasters are 80" high, mounted 2" above finished floor by means of a
12-gauge stainless steel angle and two 5/16" threaded rods with leveling nuts and washers, all of type 304 stainless steel. Top bracing is brite
anodized aluminum channel 1-1/2" x 1" of "anti-grip" design to cap top of pilaster and secured on inside of compartment. Floor anchoring is
concealed by 4"-high, one-piece, stainless steel floor shoe.
Senate Series - Ceiling Hung - with finished thickness of 3/4", and of the same design and construction as specified for dividing panels and
doors. No two-piece construction acceptable. Pilasters are fastened to 3/8" thick x 3/4" wide x full length stainless steel bar by means of two
5/16" bolts into cross dowels and into structural ceiling support member (by others) by two 3/8" threaded rods with nuts and lock washers.
Anchoring is concealed by a 4"-high, one-piece stainless steel shoe.
Diplomat Series - Floor and Ceiling Anchored - with finished thickness of 3/4", and of the same design and construction as specified for
dividing panels and doors. No two-piece construction acceptable. Pilasters are anchored to floor and structural ceiling support (by others) by
means of 12-gauge type 304 stainless steel angles and 5/16" threaded rods with leveling nuts, and lock washers. Anchoring is concealed by
4"-high, one-piece stainless steel shoes.
Judiciary Series - Floor Anchored - with finished thickness of 3/4", and of the same design and construction as specified for dividing panels
and doors. No two-piece construction acceptable. Pilasters are 70" high and fastened to a 3/8" thick x 3/4" wide x full length stainless steel
bar by means of two 5/16" bolts into cross dowels and to the floor with two 3/8" threaded rods with nuts and lock washers and lead
double-expansion shields. Floor anchoring is concealed by a 4"-high, one-piece stainless steel floor shoe.
HARDWARE - Compartments are supplied with all hardware and fasteners for a complete installation. Doors are installed on 1/8" thick heavy
extruded brite anodized type 6463T5 aluminum hinges which wrap around both the door and pilaster. Hinges are fastened to door and
pilaster with one-way head thru-bolts. Top hinges have opposing nylon cams which are factory set at 30 degrees open for in-swing and closed
for out-swing. Top hinge is reinforced with a 1/4" stainless steel rod. Strike-keeper and throw latch are heavy extruded brite anodized type
6463T5 aluminum. Coat hook/wall bumper are heavy chrome-plated Zamac and fastened with 5/8" one-way head tamper-proof screws.
FITTINGS - All brackets are heavy extruded brite anodized type 6463T5 aluminum. Wall fasteners are #14 x 1-3/4" Pro-Star screws with
conical plastic anchors. All other fasteners are heavy chrome-plated brass one-way thru-bolts. Optional concealed hardware and fasteners
available.
FINISH - Doors, panels, and pilasters are PRO-NOLIC, solid phenolic core material as manufactured by Capitol Partitions, Inc., and are
available in colors as shown above or in a wide variety of optional colors. Colors printed are reproductions. Call for actual color chart or
sample materials.
NOTE - Specifications herein can be modified to include continuous brackets, continuous hinges and threaded inserts.
