Specifying a controller for any standard unit ventilator has never been easier with Honeywell’s Excel 10 Unit Ventilator (UV) Controller. The affordable UV Controller features a flexible design that supports all standard unit ventilator applications, keeping estimating, procurement and engineering time to a minimum. Its single zone direct digital ventilation control is proven and precise, ensuring trouble-free installation and optimum UV operation. Honeywell UV Controllers play a key role in the Excel 5000 ® System. They may also be used in standalone applications. A single model uses preprogrammed heating, cooling, economizer, and ASHRAE cycles I, II or III algorithms to control unit ventilators with staged, floating or pulse width modulation. When used with the Excel 10 Zone Manager or other Excel 5000 controllers and a centrally-located Excel Building Supervisor,the UV Controller provides an excellent, low-cost control solution for small to large commercial buildings.

Installation flexibility New extended operating temperature rating (-40º to +150º F) ensures worry-free operation even in extreme hot or cold environments, regardless of installation site. Excel 10 Unit Ventilator Controller Highlights

The Excel 10 Unit Ventilator Controller is a configurable direct digital controller for all standard unit ventilator applications. All Excel 10 controllers are part of the EXCEL 5000 ® System of integrated building control products and software. They are supported by the Excel Building Supervisor front-end software package, providing easy-to-use building control with a single, global platform. Because they reside on the Echelon ® LonTalk ® network, the controllers fit perfectly in Honeywell’s worldwide architecture and interoperate with third party LonMark ® -compliant devices.

Controller Hardware

Excel 10 UV Controllers are powered by standard, off-the-shelf 24 VAC power. The hardware is rated for extended temperature operation from -40º to +150º F.

The controller includes:

• 14 AWG maximum wire size terminals for soft field wiring
• On-board network jacks for quick commissioning and troubleshooting using the E-Vision configuration tool
• On-board status LED confirms normal functioning at a glance
• UL94-5V flame-retardant construction

Inputs

• 1 T7770 wall module connection with space temperature sensor, setpoint, bypass button and bypass LED indicator
• 2 resistive inputs. Options: discharge air, outdoor air, return air or mixed air temperature, fan speed switch.
• 2 voltage/current inputs 1-10 VDC, 4-20 mA; Options: return air humidity or enthalpy, outdoor air humidity or enthalpy, filter static pressure differential, space, C0 2 , outdoor or generic sensor.
• 4 digital inputs. Options: occupancy sensor, proof of airflow, IAQ override, smoke monitor, dirty filter, shutdown switch, window/door open, monitor switch, freeze stat, heat/cool aquastat, drip pan full.
