Connections:
A modular connector on the loop controller provides a port for a PC to download software and obtain diagnostic information.
The rear connector on the loop controller interfaces the line interface module which provides isolated power for ground fault detection and handles communications to the
analog addressable devices.
The top connector on the loop controller provides a plug-in port for the device loop.
All other power and communications paths are provided by the rail.
Diagnostics:
An LED is provided on the loop controller to monitor loop communications.
Transmit and Receive LEDs are provided on the loop controller to monitor rail communications.
Additional diagnostic routines are available through the System Definition Utility.
Software versions can be displayed from the LCD display and updated by downloading from the System Definition Utility.
