GENERAL

The Excel Life Safety (XLS) System supports a full range of Remote Annunciator options when compact system status display is needed. XLS Remote Annunciator configurations include: LCD only displays, LED only displays, or combination LED and LCD displays in a single enclosure.

LCD displays use the 3-LCD Main Display Interface module. The backlit 3-LCD liquid crystal display provides eight lines of 21 characters to convey critical information.

LED displays use the full line of XLS Control Display Modules which provide users with emergency interfaces, lights, and switches. Control Display Modules install over local rail modules maximizing annunciator design flexibility. Switches with embedded LEDs provide feedback of equipment status. A lamp test can be set up for any spare control switch. Slide-in custom labels accommodate functional flexibility and local languages.

Remote Annunciator cabinets are constructed from 16-gauge cold rolled steel. The gray textured enamel finish of the annunciators complements any decor. Both surface and semi-flush mounting cabinet configurations maximize mounting flexibility and esthetic appeal. Cabinet arrangements allow both LED and LCD annunciation to be easily combined into a single enclosure.
