General

   The ceiling mounted sensors are designed for use with Fire Detection and Alarm Control Panels, and contain terminals, terminal block, fusible element, and switch contact. They are listed by Underwriters’ Laboratories, Inc. and approved by Factory Mutual System.

• A standard 3-l/4 or 4 in. (83 or 102mm) octagonal outlet box with accessory mounting plate may be used. Knockouts are provided in plastic base for use with exposed wiring (A model only).

SWITCHING

Normally open contacts T4010A (SPST,N.O.) and T4010C (DPST, N.0.) close on temperature increase above fixedtemperature setting.

Double terminals at each connection to facilitate supervised loop wiring.

COVERAGE

1. 135F (57C) element - 900 sq. ft. (83.5 sq. meters); spacing 30 ft. (9 meters) centers with no more than 15 ft. (4.6 meters) from wall or partition (U.L.,F.M.).

2. 200F (93C) element - 225 sq. ft. (21 sq. meters); spacing 15 ft. (4.6 meters) centers with no more than 7.5 ft. (2.29 meters) from wall or partition (F.M.)

3. 200F (93C) element - 900 sq. ft. (83.5 sq. meters); spacing 30 ft. (9 meters) centers with no more than 15 ft. (4.6 meters) from wall or partition (U.L.).

FIXED TEMPERATURE SETTING

1 3 5 F (57C) or 2 0 0 F (93C). Interchangeable without removing sensor base.

SAMPLE SPECIFICATION

Thermal detectors shall be (Honeywell T 4 0 1 0 )
fixed-temperature with replaceable fusible element.
