FRAME:

Select pine and engineered lumber, kiln dried to a moisture

content of 6 to12% at time of fabrication. Water repellent preservative

treated in accordance with NWWDA I.S.4. Frame thickness is 1-5/16" (33);

Basic jamb width is 4-9/16" (116); Overall frame depth is 5-5/8; (143).

Frame exterior is clad with .050 (1.3) extruded aluminum. Frames are

completely assembled with sash installed. Installation fins furnished.

SASH:

Select pine, kiln dried to a moisture content of 6 to 12% at

time of fabrication. Water repellent preservative treated in accordance

with NWWDA I.S.4. Sash thickness is 1-13/16" (46). Corners are mortised

and tenoned and secured with screws. Sash exterior is clad with .050

(1.3) extruded aluminum.

FINISH:

Exterior: Exterior aluminum surface has a baked-on, electrostatically

applied, acrylic enamel finish. Standard finish colors are: bronze, brick red, eggshell, white, sand

or green. Conforms to the requirements of AAMA Test Procedure 603.7.

Interior: Exposed interior wood surfaces are unfinished pine.

GLAZING:

Premium quality float glass complying with ASTM C1036 fabricated into

WEATHERSTRIPPING:

Units are provided with compressible weatherstripping, designed for

permanently resilient sealing when sash is closed.

Dual weatherstripping system includes 1) closed-cell foam

weatherstripping with seamless elastomeric TPE skin applied on all

four sides of the frame; 2) PVC bulb type weatherstripping applied

to all four sides of the sash.

HARDWARE:

Operating Device: Roto-gear Dual-arm operator, (Dyad operator on 11

and 15 glass width), with hardened steel worm and gear arm, high

pressure zinc die-cast case, crank handle and knob. Operator arms sash track and

sash bracket are zinc dichromate plated with a black powder-coat paint

finish. Finish on operator case, crank handle and knob is goldtone

(Optional White or Brite Brass).

Hinges: Sliding nylon shoe type hinges are concealed from the exterior.

Hinges shall be zinc dichromate plated with a black powder-coat finish.

Hinge track shall be stainless steel, fastened with stainless steel

screws. Gear operating arm and hinge support arm permits quick removal

of sash from the frame. Operable sash allows cleaning from the inside.

Lock: Single lever tie bar system lock, high pressure zinc die-cast with a

black powder-coat paint. Handle is goldtone (Optional White or Brite Brass).

SCREENS:

Removable insect screens provided for each operating sash, fitted to the

interior of the window unit and held in place with spring loaded clips.

Screen fabric is 18 by 16 fiber glass mesh; color is dark gray. Screen

frame is .024 (.61) thick (47" glass height and up) or .020 (.51) (43"

glass height and lower) roll-formed aluminum; finish is goldtone

(Optional White or Brite Brass)
