Frame thickness is 11/16"(17.5); Basic jamb width is 4-9/16' (116);
Overall frame depth is 5-5/8" (143). Frame exterior is clad with
.050 (1.3) extruded aluminum. Frames are completely assembled with
sash and balances installed. Installation fins furnished.
SASH:
Select pine, and engineered lumber, kiln dried to a moisture content of 6 to 12% at
time of fabrication. Water repellent preservative treated in accordance
with NWWDA I.S.4. Sash thickness is I - 3/8" (35). Corners are mortised
and tenoned and fastened. Sash exterior is clad with .045 (1.1) thick
extruded aluminum. Both sash can be tilted in and removed from the room
interior.
BALANCE SYSTEM:
Floating extruded vinyl jamb track with foam backing; color is high tempature beige for bronze, brick red, green, and sand clad units, color is white for white and eggshell clad units. Close-celled foam pad on top of track and bottom backside. Sash are supported by flocked coil spring system (for noise reduction) with adjustable nylon clutch shoe and steel pin.
FINISH:
Exterior. Exterior aluminum surface has a baked-on, electrostatically applied, acrylic enamel finish. Finish colors are: bronze, white, green, brick red, eggshell, or sand. Conforms to the requirements of AAMA Test Procedure 603.7.
Interior: Exposed interior wood surfaces are unfinished pine.
GLAZING:
Premium quality float glass complying with ASTM C1 036 fabricated into
hermetically sealed insulated in accordance with ASTM E774-88 standards units with an overall measurement of 3/4" (19) or 1" (25.4). Glazed with closed-cell foam glazing tape.

WEATHERSTRIPPING:
Units are provided with compressible weatherstripping designed for
permanently resilient sealing; PVC bulb type weatherstripping is located
in the checkrail; Woven wool pile weatherstripping is located at the stiles
of the upper and lower sash; Closed-cell foam weatherstripping in toprail
of upper and bottom rail of lower sash.
HARDWARE:
Dual action cam sweep lock and keeper is located on the meeting rails;
2 provided on units with 32" glass width or wider (Optional on narrower
units); zinc die-cast case, finish is goldtone (Optional White or Brite Brass).
FULL SCREEN: Removable insect screens optional for each operating unit, fitted to the exterior of the window unit. Screen fabric is 18 by 16 fiber glass mesh, color is dark gray. Screen frame is .020 thick roll-formed aluminum with a baked-on polyester thermal-setting finish; color matches the window unit in white, bronze, sand, or green.
COMBINATION STORM & SCREEN UNIT Combination storm and screen unit optional for each operating unit, fastened to the exterior of the window unit. The frame is extruded aluminum with a baked-on acrylic enamel finish Storm panels (1-operating, 1-stationary) are glazed with single glass with aluminum frame. Half-screen panel is dark gray fiberglass mesh with aluminum frame. All panels are removable.
