FRAME:

Select pine (finger-jointed), kiln dried to a moisture content

of 6 to12% at time of fabrication. Water repellent preservative treated

in accordance with NWWDA I.S.4. Frame thickness Is 1-5/16" (33) at head

and Jamb; Basic jamb width Is 4-9/16" (116); Overall frame depth Is

5-5/8" (143). Frame head and jambs are clad with .050 (1.3) thick

extruded aluminum. Anodized aluminum sill with oak threshold.

Installation fins provided.

DOOR PANELS:

Select pine, kiln dried to a moisture, content of 6 to 12% at

time of fabrication. Water repellent preservative treated in accordance

with NWWDA I.S.4. Clear solid rails; Engineered composite wood core

stiles Laminated with clear pine veneer on interior and exterior surfaces.

Panel thickness is 1-314" (44); Corners are doweled, glued and fastened.

Panel exterior is clad with .050 (1.3) thick extruded aluminum and

lap-jointed. Sash profile is 4-1/2" wide. A 7-1/2" bottom rail on 8" height units only.

FINISH:

Exterior. Exterior aluminum surface has a baked-on electrostatically

applied, acrylic enamel finish. Finish colors are: bronze, white, Brick red, eggshell, green or

sand. Conforms to the requirements of AAMA Test Procedure 603.7.

Interior.

Interior wood surfaces are unfinished pine.

OPERATION:

Frames are completely assembled with door panels installed. All doors

are inswinging, hinged as specified. Saw and handle package packaged

for field Installation.

GLAZING:

Premium quality tempered glass complying with ASTM C1048 fabricated

Into hermetically sealed Insulated units in accordance with ASTM E774-88 standards with an

overall measurement of 3/4" (19) OR 1" (25.4). Glazed with closed-cell foam glazing tape and

removable Interior wood stops.

WEATHERSTRIPPING:

Door units are provided with compressible weatherstripping, designed for

permanently resilient sealing, when door panels are closed.

Foam core covered weatherstripping Located at the head jamb,

side jambs and astragal jambs; Additional PVC leaf-type weatherstripping

located at the head jamb and lock-side jamb. Multiple contact vinyl door

sweep.

HARDWARE:

Doors provided with adjustable hinges applied (3 hinges for 6-8 Height

doors or 4 hinges for 8-0 Height doors). Door panels bored for hardware

application. Adjustable hinges are zinc dichromate steel with goldtone

finish (Optional brite brass or white ). Doors shall have mortise

lock and keyed deadbolt with a 2-3/8" (60) backset. Standard handle and

lockset are antique brass with clear powder coat finish standard (Optional

brite brass, brushed silver stainless steel, or white). 3-Point Locking hardware standard on 8-0

height and French swinging doors (Optional on 6-8 height doors) in antique brass

finish (Optional brite brass or white).

SCREEN:

Extruded aluminum slicing screen assembly utilizes 4 adjustable steel

ball-bearing rollers that engage in the sill tack and head frame assembly

on the exterior side of the door unit complete with Latch and keeper

assembly and pile-type insect guard strip that compresses against the

door astragal when in the closed position.
