3. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Basic Use: QwikSet™ Mirro-Mastic^® is a high quality fast setting adhesive designed for use on copper-backed glass mirrors. QwikSet is specially formulated for use on non-porous substrates such as glass, metal, ceramic tile, and porcelain. QwikSet has been field and laboratory tested for compatibility on silver, copper and mirror backing paints. Do not use on acrylic mirror or on safety tapes or safety backings.

Curing Time: 50% strength in 24 hours. 80% strength in 48 hours

Coverage: One cartridge of QwikSet Mirro-Mastic will install approximately 5 square feet of mirror. (Note: We recommend 60% coverage of the back of the mirror.)

Clean up: Promptly with mineral spirits.

Storage: Ideal storage 50° to 85°F (10° to 29.4°C)

Shelf life: 12 months from date on unopened containers.

CAUTION: FLAMMABLE
Vapors may ignite explosively; prevent build-up of vapors. Open all windows and doors. Use only with cross ventilation. Do not smoke. Extinguish all flames and pilot lights and turn off stoves, heaters, electric motors and other sources of ignition during use and until all vapors are gone. Close containers after use. Keep away from heat, sparks and open flame.

All Palmer Products must be used only for approved purposes, and must be applied only in accordance with Palmer's installation instructions, as set forth in Palmer's specification sheet and installation guides (available upon request from Palmer or its distributors). The user bears all risk of damage, injury or other loss arising out of any non-approved use and/or improper installation of any Palmer Product. If Palmer's installation instructions are not followed, in whole or part, for whatever reason, then mechanical fasteners of sufficient size and strength must immediately be used to insure safety of the installation pending prompt proper reinstallation by the product user. Any failure to properly utilize or apply any Palmer product may result in property damage, bodily injury or death. INSTALLATION GUIDE

1. Make sure both surfaces are free of dust, clean and dry. On nonporous substructures such as glass, tile or metal, priming or sealing is not necessary. If used on porous substructure, use a primer or sealer on dry, clean substructure and allow it to dry. Never apply primer or sealer or QwikSet to a painted surface or wall covering.

2. Cut the spout on the cartridge so it will dispense the desired size bead or pat of QwikSet.

3. Apply sufficient QwikSet so that when the mirror is pressed into place the adhesive will cover approximately 60% of the back of the mirror. Leave an air space between the beads or pats to allow the adhesive to set up. With mirror-to-mirror or mirror-to-glass overlays the beads or pats should be 1/32 to 1/16 of an inch in thickness when the mirror is pressed into place. Care should be taken to make sure that QwikSet is not applied too heavy or close to the edge causing "squeeze out" that will have to be cleaned off. Any clean up should be done with mineral spirits.

4. Mechanical support systems are recommended for all mirror applications. Support mirror at the bottom by using double-face tape tabs, L-hangers, pins or "J"-channel.

5. For best adhesion both the mirror and the substrate should be above 40ºF (4.4°C).

Any dispute or claim of whatsoever type arising out of the use of any Palmer Product shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Palmer's sole liability, if any, and any user's or third party claimant's sole and exclusive remedy relating to any such dispute or claim shall be replacement of the Palmer product used.
