Boon Edam Inc., the leading manufacturer of security entrance solutions in North America, is proud to present a live, 1-hour course for security professionals that can provide 1 credit towards their ASIS CPP or PSP designations.

This new 1-credit course, “Pedestrian Entrance Control Products: Security Doors, Portals and Turnstiles Overview,” discusses the importance of security entrance products in an effective security plan and describes the critical steps towards making a well-rounded purchasing decision using the S.T.A.R.T.S.S.® Decision Methodology. In addition, the course touches on security entrance product working principles, applications and safety features and case studies.

The course can be applied for credit towards either of the following domains:
CPP 01/03/02: “Available Security-Related Technology”
PSP 01/03/09: “Existing Equipment, Physical Security Systems, Personnel and Procedures”
