Major Industries, Inc., a local manufacturer of skylights and translucent curtainwall, is pleased to announce the promotion of David Nyseth to Director of Sales, a position that will provide world-wide sales leadership for the company.

In his new expanded role, David will spear-head the company’s commitment to increase the architectural promotion of its custom-engineered skylights and translucent curtainwall. His will also be responsible for the recruiting and training of a dedicated Architectural Sales staff chartered to assist Architects and other Specifiers in the correct application of the company’s energy-efficient and environmentally friendly daylighting systems. In addition, David will take a lead role in the company’s new initiative to build its international presence over the next three to five years.

The Director of Sales and supporting staff (Field Sales Manager, Architectural Sales Consultants, Inside Sales Manager, and International Sales Manager) are responsible for the training and development of outside contract representatives and international/ domestic dealers, as well as developing and strengthening relationships with specialty contractors and factory-approved installers. David’s success over the last 4½ years as our National Sales Manager gives us great confidence that his leadership and energy will serve him well in his new and challenging opportunity as Director of Sales for the company’s world-wide growth plans.
