Accuride International and the Belt Sander Racing Association (BSRA) announce the kickoff of the 2011 BSRA Racing Circuit, which includes several race events to be held throughout the year at Accuride distributor branches across the U.S. and Canada.
Starting out on the west coast, races have been scheduled at E.B. Bradley Company locations in San Diego, Anaheim, and Hayward, California; Portland, Oregon; and Kent, Washington. Additional events will be announced as scheduled. Racers are encouraged to register right away to reserve a space in the competitions. For more information or to register for an event, visit http://www.accuride.com/BSRA/. Competitors will vie for awards on a 75-foot wooden track complete with Christmas-tree starting signals. The sawdust—and occasionally the sanders—really flies on this track, as racers aggressively compete for the fastest times. First, second, and third place awards are presented, as well as a special Judge’s Award. Top racers from events around the country will compete in the BSRA National Championships, which will be held during the AWFS®Fair, in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 21, 2011.
