ColumbiaSoft™ Promotes Scott Zieg to Lead its Document Management Product Offering

Portland, Ore. – Aug. 26, 2008 – ColumbiaSoft announced today that Scott Zieg, who formerly led the firm’s product development division, has been promoted to Product Manager and has assumed responsibility over the strategic direction of the company’s Document Locator software offering.

“Our opportunity is to leverage the position Document Locator has achieved in the marketplace as a next-generation enterprise solution, and build on that to develop services that are solution-specific and appeal to certain market segments,” said Zieg. “Communicating with our customers and setting the roadmap to meet their business needs as well as the company’s objectives will be a key step in the process, and something that I look forward to doing.”

Zieg has been with ColumbiaSoft since 2001, and has held leading responsibilities across technology, quality assurance, customer support, and product development. He’s considered the principal architect for the software offering that ColumbiaSoft currently delivers. Prior to joining ColumbiaSoft, Zieg worked with Charlie Plesums, a well-know pioneer in the field of document workflow, at Computer Sciences Corporation. Zieg is a graduate of Baylor University.
