GENERAL
The T7780A Digital Display Wall Module (DDWM) is an Echelon^® LonTalk^® (E-Bus) network wall module. The DDWM displays and provides space temperature, setpoint, Occ/Unocc override, application mode (HVAC), and fan mode/speed selection over the E-Bus network for the following Excel 10 controllers: VAVII, CVAHU, and FCU, as applicable.

Using the four-button keypad, the user can change room temperature setpoint, HVAC mode, fan mode/speed, initiate/cancel bypass, and change configuration information such as engineering units.

This wall module is not compatible with Honeywell W7751A,C,E,G VAVI Controllers.

DESCRIPTION
The T7780A Digital Display Wall Module (DDWM) is an Echelon^® LonTalk (E-Bus) network wall module. The DDWM displays and provides space temperature, setpoint, Occ/Unocc override, application mode (HVAC), and fan mode/speed selection over the E-Bus for the following Excel 10 controllers: VAVII, CVAHU, and FCU, as applicable.

This wall module is not compatible with Honeywell W7751A,C,E,G VAVI Controllers.

One twisted pair lead wires for Echelon communications (polarity insensitive).
One twisted pair lead wires for remote sensor (optional).

Temperature Sensor Accuracy:
The DDWM is furnished with a 20K Ohm nonlinear NTC temperature sensor that follows a specific temperature-resistance curve. See Fig. 1. Honeywell controllers used with the DDWM employ an algorithm that provides readings close to the actual temperature. Table 1 summarizes the DDWM nonlinearized sensor accuracy for normal operating temperatures. Across the range of 41 to 99°F (5 to 37°C) the accuracy is better than ±0.75°F (±0.42°C).

Setpoint Adjustment Range:
50 to 90°F (10 to 32°C); setpoint limits are configurable within adjustment range.

Display Resolution:

Temperature Value:
Configurable to 0.1 or 1.0 °F/0.1 or 1.0 °C resolution. The actual measured temperature gets rounded up if greater than 0.05 or 0.5, depending on the display selection for either Fahrenheit or Celsius.

Setpoint Value:
Configurable to 0.5 or 1.0 °F/0.5 or 1.0 °C resolution.

Communications:
Uses Echelon^® LonTalk^® (E-Bus) network open communications protocol and complies with requirements for the Free Topology Transceiver (FTT) media running at 78 kilobaud.
Onboard FTT transceiver with integral blocking capacitors, compatible with the Link Power Transceiver (LPT) media.

Mounting Options:
Standard 2 by 4 in. utility conduit box or 60 mm wall outlet box.
