GENERAL

The R7515A/B, RP7515A/B, R7516B MicroCel� Controllers ("MicroCels") are Distributed Digital Controllers (DDC) that can operate on a stand-alone basis or can be networked into the DeltaNet architecture on an RS-485 bus using Honeywell Communications Network Automation Protocol ("C-NAP").  Models are available with a variety of input and output configurations for control of applications with various I/O point requirements.

The MicroCel is field programmable allowing it to be used for various zone control applications, and other types of HVAC equipment. Also, the MicroCel is furnished with prepackaged programs to control both single- and dual-duct Variable Air Volume ("VAV") terminal units. For VAV units, MicroCel models are available with an integral, electric damper actuator and a Honeywell MICRO SWITCH microbridge flow sensor for measurement of very low differential pressure. For dual-duct VAV units, the MicroCel can accommodate a separate, remote, microbridge sensor and control a second damper actuator.

The MicroCel is used in conjunction with an Excel T75 l 5AD M-Cel� Space Temperature Sensor ("Space Sensor") for VAV and other unitary HVAC applications. Where pneumatic output is required, the MicroCel is available with integral electric-pneumatic transducers.
