Resinous Flooring: Self Leveling Epoxy

Perdüre SLE & SLE-T

Typical Uses:

  • loading docks
  • ramps
  • chemical plants
  • traffic aisles
  • battery plants
  • plating rooms

Perdüre SLE (self leveling epoxy) & SLE-T (self levelingepoxy trowell grade ) consists of 100% solids epoxy and selectivelygraded aggregates to produce a seamless flooring solution ideallysuited for industrial flooring applications. It is designed to restoreand replace eroded or spalled concrete floors. When sealed, PerdüreSLE & SLE produce a dense, skid inhibiting surface that eliminatesdirt and chemical penetration. The chemical resistance and overallperformance of Perdüre SLE & SLE-T can be increased by usingdifferent epoxy and polyurethane top coats.

Since no two floors are the same, Perdüre SLE & SLE-T systemsare modified to handle various degrees to chemical, impact and thermalshock resistance. It is applied in thickness ranging from one-sixteenthinch to one-fourth inch. Perdüre SLE & SLE-T is appliedas a three-component system of 100% solids epoxy primer, 100% solidsepoxy body coat that is blended with self-leveling filler and apolyurethane or polyaspartic topcoat.

Perdüre SLE System

1/16" to 1/4" thickness

1. Application of Perdüre E02 – 100% solids epoxy primer

2. Application of a blend of self-leveling filler and Perdüre E10

3. Application of

a. Perdüre E20 – 100% solids epoxy bodycoat OR

b. Perdüre NE25 or Perdüre NE30 – 100% solids Novolac epoxy coating
Note: Perdüre NE25 and Perdüre NE30 have different chemical resistance. You will find each products chemical resistence information on the their technical data sheets.

4. Application of Perdüre U50 – solvent based polyurethane top coat

Perdüre SLE-T System

1/8" thickness

1. Application of Perdüre E02 – 100% solids epoxy primer

2. Application of a blend of self-leveling filler and Perdüre E10

3. Application of a blend of broadcast (30# mesh) aggregate and Perdüre E10

5. Application of Perdüre U50 – solvent based polyurethane top coat

Note:
The thickness of Perdüre SLe and PerdüreSLe(t) system is modified by changing the number of coatsof self-leveling filler and Perdüre E10 or by changing the sizeand/or quantity of the filler in Perdüre E10. Please conferwith Düraamen technical representative to arrive at specificationsfor your project.

Perdüre E02

Perdüre E02 is a 100% solids, moisture tolerant epoxy primerfor concrete and masonry surfaces. It combines the properties ofwater insensitivity with good wetting properties. It provides excellentfilling and sealing properties needed under high performance epoxyfloor coatings on concrete. The moisture tolerance of perdüreE02 allows it to be applied to damp concrete after surface preparation. This includes bonding “old to old” or “new to old” concrete.

advantages

  • Low modulus – stress relieving
  • Fast cure formulation available for priming under coatings
