Skelly and Loy Hires Regional Director of Business Development

 

Mark T. Pitterle, Ph.D., P.E., To Build Business in Pittsburgh

Skelly and Loy recently hired Mark T. Pitterle, Ph.D., P.E., as Regional Director of Business Development for its Pittsburgh office location. In addition to new client and project development for all Skelly and Loy services, Dr. Pitterle also provides management and technical review of engineering projects.

Dr. Pitterle’s project focus is with rural water and wastewater services, green stormwater infrastructure, acid mine drainage treatment, and sustainability/life cycle assessment. His past experience includes water, wastewater, sustainability assessments, energy/water efficiency, remediation, solid waste, and renewable energy projects.

Dr. Pitterle earned a Doctor of Philosophy, Civil Engineering, from the University of Colorado Denver; a Master of Science degree in Environmental Engineering: Water & Wastewater Track from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University; and, a Bachelor of Science degree in Earth Science with Minors in Geology and Geography from The Pennsylvania State University. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Virginia and a Board Member for International Centers for Appropriate Technology and Indigenous Sustainability (iCATIS).
