Traco NX-3000 Aluminum casement series of products have been Impact and Blast tested providing superior performance against hurricane forced winds and high blast impulse pressures while exceeding energy efficiency requirements. The impact casements series windows feature high design pressures in excess of +/- 100 psf, a 15psf water performance against wind driven rain during hurricanes and durable non-corrosive hardware to combat the salt-water environment. The NX-3000 windows follow the UFC 4-010-01 or GSA standards for Blast products.
The NX-3000 series is enhanced with Traco NEXGEN Technology™ that will meet the growing demand for energy efficiency, green building and LEED® certification. Traco NEXGEN Technology™ includes––the NEXGEN Thermal Barrier System™ providing up to a 50% better thermal insulation than PVC or polyurethane and the NEXGEN Energy Spacer™ reducing U values in standard IG units up to 15% when compared to conventional units with a metallic spacer.This new product series features a 3¼” frame in various styles including –– casement (AW-PG80-C), projected (AW-PG80-AP) and fixed (AW-PG80-FW) units with 1” insulating glass. The NX products are ideal for education, offices, multi-family and government segments with performance ratings from .23 U-value (whole window), 15psf water and less than 0.1cfm/sf air.
