Military

Agriboard's compressed agricultural fiber panels have been used by the Military at Ft. Hood to construct sustainable buildings that provide the safety, energy efficiency, and blast resistance that surpasses conventional construction at a competitive price.

Additional benefits to using Agriboard panels included the low labor costs for site construction. The panels come directly from the factory in single pieces that are moved into position with a small crane or bulldozer. Walls are connected together like a large jigsaw puzzle. The panels act as a wall core and insulation. Brick, rock facing or siding may be applied to the exterior and sheet rock or paint to the interior wall. Construction times, as compared to normal frame construction, are reduced by as much as 75% project.

Agriboard is working on a variety of potential projects that integrate agricultural fiber panels into future projects to support the unique needs of the U.S. Military.
