lakeshorestair.comIn 1932 Lake Shore Stair Company started as a small stair company in Libertyville serving the Lake County area. Today, the company has grown to serve the Chicagoland area, as well as Wisconsin. We currently have two locations. Our original shop in Libertyville has been recently remodeled and transformed into our design showroom. Our Ingleside location holds our corporate offices and our 20,000 sqft., state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities.
Though our commitment to quality craftsmanship and complete customer satisfaction has been a constant guiding principle, the tools we use have changed over the years. Where at one time all plans were drafted by hand, Computer Aided Design (CAD) software now allows us to make more exacting specifications, and speed the designs to the manufacturing floor. Another major innovation has been the insertion of Computer Aided Manufacturing equipment in our manufacturing process. This equipment takes our CAD designs, with the guidance of our skilled craftsmen, and produces the high quality stair and rail parts for your home.
