Landscape Forms is pleased to announce the introduction of Rama, a striking and versatile pedestrian light from Barcelona based global partner, Santa & Cole. Rama is a “tree of light.” Architectural in form and minimalist in expression, Rama features “branches” stemming from a trunk that support multiple luminaires on a single pole. Designed by Gonzalo Mila, this distinguished element in the Santa & Cole Urban Elements collection is recipient of an ADI-FAD Silver Delta Award from Spain’s Association of Industrial Design. Rama ranges in height from 15 to 26 feet and accommodates up to five luminaires mounted in different directions and at different heights to put light where it’s needed. On pathways, a single luminaire lights the walkway. On streetscapes, two luminaires mounted in opposing positions on the pole overlook the street and light the sidewalk. In very large plazas or parking lots a tall light with five luminaires at spiraling locations along the pole illuminates a wide area.

Rama is functional, simple and sustainable. Composed of three basic parts: pole, luminaire and clamp, it is easy to store, transport, install and maintain. Rama provides outstanding light quality with high energy efficiency, long life, and light pollution control that supports dark skies. All aluminum in construction, it is fully recyclable.

Landscape Forms offers Rama in LED and Metal Halide versions. The Rama LED extruded aluminum luminaire with handsome clear anodized finish has white (4000°K) LEDs that mimic the color of moonlight to support circadian rhythm and human health. The Rama Metal Halide with painted cast aluminum luminaire is an economical lighting solution that uses metal halide lamps provided by users and offers another Landscape Forms option for lighting outdoor spaces.

Landscape Forms is the exclusive distributor of the Santa & Cole Urban Elements collection in the U.S. and Canada.
