Lannon Tank traces its original beginnings to the formation of a steel fabricating shop, C & R Welding, which serviced several area quarries in the Village of Lannon in 1954. Business prospered and in 1968, one partner and two salesmen formed Lannon Corp., which bought a line of underground storage tanks from Logemann, Inc of Milwaukee. to In 1970, the main building was constructed and the first tanks began being built. Lannon Corp. continued to add new tank technologies in order to adapt to more stringent government regulations. However, fortune did not always smile on Lannon. Two salesmen died in a one-year period during the mid-eighties. Lannon Corp was put up for sale. Three years later, Lannon Tank Corporation was formed to buy out Lannon Corp and on August 1, 1989, Lannon Tank Corporation began operations under the current ownership. Today, company managers are experienced manufacturing and engineering professionals.
