About Maxxon Corp.

Maxxon®, The Floor Specialists, is recognized as the pioneer and leader in floor technologies. From a full spectrum of floor underlayments to the ultimate sound deadening systems, Maxxon offers proven solutions for a world of floor challenges.

From the original Gyp-Crete® Floor Underlayment, the Maxxon line has expanded to include five gypsum floor underlayments, nine sound control mats, four cementitious self-leveling underlayments, and several other specialty products including two surface applied moisture vapor barriers (Maxxon DPM and Maxxon MVP).

Ideal for renovation, commercial, multifamily, single family, and self-leveling applications, Maxxon can solve any floor challenge, including problem floors in high-rise buildings. Maxxon Underlayments can be installed in wood frame or concrete construction, or over corrugated steel deck in steel frame construction.

Maxxon’s gypsum underlayments and sound control mats are made with recycled content and always considered ‘green’ building materials. In today’s building market, architects, designers, and building owners alike want solutions that offer superior performance and make environmental sense. Maxxon products offer the complete package with fast installation, proven performance, and also may help contribute points toward LEED® project certification.

Maxxon Underlayments and Acousti-Mat sound control mats are GREENGUARD Certified® and GREENGUARD Gold (formerly Children & SchoolsSM) Certified…the most stringent product emission criteria in the market. Covered with a GREENGUARD Certified Maxxon Underlayment, the Acousti-Mat systems are the ultimate in green-friendly sound control solutions.
