Sawdust Set To Fly In Anaheim, California
Accuride International and the Belt Sander Racing Association (BSRA) announce a special race event set for May 6, 2011, at E.B. Bradley Company, 1150A North Red Gum Street, in Anaheim. Competitors will vie for trophies with souped-up and stock belt sanders designed to roar down a 75-foot wooden track. Complete with Christmas-tree starting signals, the sawdust—and occasionally the sanders—really flies on this track, as racers aggressively compete for the fastest times. First, second, and third place trophies are presented, as well as a special Judge’s Award.Racers are encouraged to register right away to reserve a space in the competitions.
