Single Part Nosings
Ribbed Bar Abrasive NosingEconomical and easy to install, Babcock-Davis' Ribbed Bar Abrasive Nosing is designed for stairs and is perfect for indoor and outdoor poured concrete stair applications where extra safety is desired or required by code. The ribbed abrasive grit can be customized for multi-color treads.
Full Bar Abrasive Nosing
The Full Abrasive Nosing is designed for use on stairs and is made from an extruded aluminum base with aluminum oxide silicon carbide abrasive material locked into the extruded channels. The material is consistent throughout the tread covering the nose. Ideal for indoor and outdoor applications, the full abrasive tread is easy to install and an economical option.
Inset Ribbed Bar Abrasive Nosing
Babcock-Davis' Inset Ribbed Abrasive Treads and Nosings are an ideal solution for walkways, ramps, landings and stair treads where you need a strip of anti-slip safety treads. Available with an extruded anchor for cast-in installations or drilled holes for mechanically fastened installations.

The sub-channel and plywood inserts are installed during the construction phase. When the building is near completion, the temporary plywood tread is replaced with the final install of the abrasive anti-slip safety material.
