Soil Retention Plantable concrete systems® include the following:

Drivable Grass® - a permeable grass paver system that is an environmentally friendly alternative to poured concrete or asphalt.  Drivable Grass® is designed to flex and conform, it does not crack and break like ridged concrete, or pop up and wear like plastic paving.  Drivable Grass® offers a simple and reliable solution to storm water management through bio-filtration, infiltration and storage while not sacrificing valuable site area.  Drivable Grass® applications include fire lanes, parking areas, roads, driveways, rv and boat storage, golf cart paths, bioswale reinforcement, green roofs, pathways, boat ramps, slope armor, trickle channels, stream bank installation, culvert outlets, and more.  Drivable Grass® qualifies for numerous LEED credits.

Verdura® - a fully plantable retaining wall system.  Verdura® offers the ability to create "living walls", providing the strength and function of a standard retaining wall plus the added ability to sustain live plantings.  Verdura® comes in various block sizes which can be used for a wide range of projects ranging from small homeowner projects to large-scale developments.  Applications include high and critical walls, tiered walls, channel walls, detention basin walls, screen walls, sound walls, bridge abutments, head walls, slope walls, channel walls, and more.  And, Verdura® is Caltrans approved up to 40’!

Enviroflex® - a tapered, articulating concrete block (ACB) system designed for erosion control use in riverine, channel, or other areas with high velocity flows that are subject to scour.  Each block vertically interlocks with an overlapping connection, eliminating the blocks ability to protrude relative to other blocks.  Enviroflex® is manufactured from fiber reinforced concrete for added tensile strength.  Openings in the block allow for infiltration and groundwater recharge to help mitigate flooding and storm water pollution.  And, the openings allow for vegetation to establish which promotes biofiltration and results in a green, natural, and environmentally pleasing appearance.
