The E-Z Hatch® Attic Access Door is an air-tight, high-performance, energy-efficient attic access scuttle door. It is R-42, R-50 or R-80, triple-gasketed, pre-finished, and fits in a 22 ½” x 30 ½” rough opening. It is an energy efficient alternative to energy wasting attic pull down ladders, and exceeds all Code requirements.

Deluxe version is provided with 4-point lock and handles, keyed alike or different. It is less expensive solution and a higher performance alternative to a pull down ladder and the Code required insulated and gasketed stair cover. Exceeds all IRC, IECC, Energy Star, etc. Code Requirements.

Meets the LEED Energy & Atmosphere Credits 3.1 (Minimal Envelope Leakage), and Exceeds the LEED Energy & Atmosphere Credit for Enhanced Insulation. Easy to install in new or existing construction.
