Seton, a leading manufacturer of safety and identification products, continues its decades-long commitment to the construction industry with a complete offering of services designed to help customers save time and money on the jobsite.

Seton has started offering its Project Take-Off Service and Project Packaging Service to construction industry professionals, enhancing the overall product and service portfolio Seton has provided the construction industry for years.

Seton understands the challenges its construction customers face each day on the job site, and offers beneficial services that can help them with every job—from start to finish. Seton offers its construction customers a free submittal package that helps simplify the entire submittal process. Submittals are available upon request or accessible online in an easy-to-download format. They are available for pipe markers, valve marking and equipment plates: for both custom and stock products.

Customers have asked for additional services and Seton is excited to offer the Project Take-Off Service and the Project Packaging Service. “We take customer feedback very seriously,” said Seton Construction Industry Manager Jeffrey Lublin. “These are services we know our customers want and need, and we’re pleased to now offer them both top quality products, along with the services they need to complete their jobs.”

Customers who place their order with Seton can take advantage of a free project take-off service. Seton reviews the customer’s mechanical drawings and creates a list of mechanical identification necessary to properly mark their project and meet the required ASME/ANSI A13.1-2-007 Standard.

As part of the take-off service, customers receive color-coded drawings that show the location and content of pipes and valves. They also receive a bill of materials, outlined in spreadsheets that list materials needed for project identification—including size, content legend/color, location and quantity needed.

Seton’s project packaging service helps ease the cost of installation. For no additional cost, that order will be packaged by room, floor, building—or any location requested by the customer. This eliminates the need to presort package contents when they arrive on the job site.

These services complement the expert advice Seton’s OSHA authorized contractor specialists are known for providing their customers. Whether they call or visit seton.com, customers receive the guidance they need while selecting safety and identification solutions that keep their job sites safe and compliant.
