The beauty of classic architectural design is timeless. Whether designing a modern interpretation of traditional style or retrofitting an existing structure, TR-9100/9700 Single-Hung Side-Load Thermal Windows offer the versatility and design flexibility required for memorable projects.

TR-9100/9700 Thermal Windows combine elegant lines and handsome aesthetics with exceptional functionality and performance. Options such as 3/4" insulating glass (TR-9700) or 1" insulating glass (TR-9100) enhance thermal performance while providing sightlines that blend beautifully with a broad array of architectural styles. Designed for both beauty and performance, these windows are engineered to withstand extremes of weather and will not rot, warp or buckle when exposed to weather or moisture.

PERFORMANCE

TR-9100/9700 Single-Hung Side-Load Thermal Windows are manufactured with long-lasting finishes and durable hardware to stand up to the effects of daily use and seasonal weather extremes. Designed to meet high quality standards, TR-9100/9700 Thermal Windows have been tested in accordance with AAMA/WDMA/CSA 101/I.S.2. TR-9100/9700 windows are engineered with a thermal break that separates the interior and exterior and increases thermal performance. The thermal pour-and-debridge design creates a positive interlock between the polyurethane thermal break material and the aluminum components, creating a single composite element and effectively protecting against shrinkage and loss of adhesion.

OPERATION AND SECURITY

TR-9100/9700 Single-Hung Side-Load Thermal Windows include a sash design with a full-width integral lift rail at the sill for easy operation. Two convenient lock handles are also included at the sill for one-motion opening. Additionally, operating friction is reduced with special weather strips. AAMA Class 2 block-and-tackle balances with extruded aluminum housings and AAMA Class 5 heavy-duty spring balances with larger frame jambs are available as options.

Security features include locks that automatically engage when the sash is closed. Windows are also designed with concealed balances to reduce the incidence of vandalism. Full-protection or half-protection exterior screens are also available on both TR-9100 and TR-9700 windows.

AESTHETICS AND VERSATILITY

These versatile architectural-grade windows feature a 3-1/4" frame depth and aesthetic options that expand design possibilities for architects, designers and building owners. TR-9100 Thermal Windows are available as a tri-lite window with a fixed glass or panel below a single-hung window in a single frame. TR-9700 windows are available as a tri-lite window that includes two top fixed areas and one bottom sash all in one frame. The flange frame of TR-9100 windows increases the design applications for which this window is ideally suited. A customized appearance may be achieved for both TR-9100 and TR-9700 windows with exterior, internal or true muntins.
