New manual roller shade operator combines elegance and safety

Forget everything you think you know about manually operated window shades. It’s time to meet the manual roller shade of the future – one without hanging cords, bead chains, or locking springs! Say hello to the Ascend!
The all-new Ascend is a balanced spring operator. No, this isn’t your grandparents’ spring roller shade. With the Ascend, a light touch of one hand upwards at the bottom of the hembar moves the shade up, and the gentlest of tugs lowers it. You’ll never have to fight to open or close the Ascend! A built-in adjustment ring allows you to fine-tune the tension for ease of operation.
The FlexStyle Ascend provides an elegant, luxurious manual shade that can be matched with motorized and battery shades in the same home. Roller shades in small windows in out of the way spaces aren’t used as often as those in other, more accessible spaces. The FlexStyle Ascend is a simple and safe alternative, with no hanging cords for children or pets to interact with.
Adjustment ring for fine-tuning spring tension
The FlexShade Ascend is available with FlexShade hardware, including fascia, so it, too, can be matched with motorized and battery shades in the same building. It is the perfect solution where children might come into contact with the shade, or where you simply don’t want to be able to tell the difference between motorized and manual shades.
For units that are out of reach when fully retracted, an optional Pull-Down Wand helps reach the shades.
Initially FlexStyle and FlexShade Ascend are offered in sizes up to 8 feet wide, but larger sizes are on the way. Both the FlexStyle Ascend and FlexShade Ascend are ready to order and shipping now!
