Custom manufactured light poles to meet specifications designated by you

November 7, 2022

Niland manufactures the industry's largest and most diverse selection of custom decorative aluminum pole products. All of our antique street lamps are cast aluminum poles featuring four or five-inch fluted pole options, specifiable up to 16 feet. Choose your height with Niland and let our poles' flexibility suit individual area requirements for all of your projects. The ornate decorative cast base light poles are unitized in one piece construction and all exterior welds are finished smooth. Our in-house pattern and machine shop can duplicate any historic antique street lamp or street light post as part of our free design service. Show us an old photo of your old main street light pole and we'll handle the rest.

Custom manufactured light poles to meet specifications designated by you

Three piers and heavy iron gates made up the main entrance to the community. On each pier were three existing fixtures. Although clustered together, each fixture had put such a low light output that it threatened visibility and security. A single Barcelona LED fixture on each pier replaced the cluttered appearance as well as provided the necessary lighting to view those entering and exiting the premises.

To preserve the historic feel of the homes surrounding the light poles, our Niland 17 base had been installed. Complimenting the decorative base is our dark sky compliant Barcelona LED series fixture. A Twist Lock photocell had also been included on each fixture to increase the energy savings. Each home owner was also offered a custom mailbox mounted to the light pole. All light poles, fixtures, and accessories had been powder coated tough with our standard Textured Black finish.

As an added benefit to the energy savings each resident would encounter, all the LED units were manufactured with warm white 3500 Kelvin diodes. This not only provided well lit areas but prevented the “parking lot” feel of a standard bright white 5000 Kelvin diode.
